Hello everyone,

My name is Dana, I own and operate Marsh Fern Portraits. First, let me say how grateful I am to each and every one of you for considering me and trusting me with your special days. I have thoroughly enjoyed sharing in all of the amazing times and memories made with you.

A little about myself. I am a mother to a teenager and Corgi. I'm a photographer some days and a firefighter other days. I consider myself pretty "outdoorsy" and love the natural light. I fell into wedding photography accidentally and found out it was my favorite subject to photograph. 

Over the years I have learned that my true passion in photography is the capturing of an emotion. The shot that you end up staring at because there is so much to feel when you look at it. That is what I am after! I have built MFP around the candid concept. You will find that I do not give you specifics when it comes to poses, rather I prompt you then tweak what you give me. I am here to photograph you, not a pose.
